Easy To Type

Obviously, you do not want your visitors to mistype the name of your domain and open the wrong website.

You can do research by asking people to spell the potential domain name. In case more than a few of them are struggling to spell it, it is better to simplify it.

Avoid Numbers & Hyphens

Numbers and hyphens in your domain name can make it more difficult. Imagine Instagram having a hyphen, ‘Instagram’. While telling people about it, you have to explain that it has a hyphen. If this were the case, it would not have spread so quickly. Your domain name has to be smooth to read and write and number and hyphens might get in the way of that.

Domain names tend to sell out rapidly. Hence, as soon as you have a name, register it.
